Low light levels were detected today on one of our London fibre legs between Telehouse North and Volta (Verne, Great Sutton Street), so our fibre provider will carry out inspection and precautionary maintenance this evening, starting at 20:00 GMT. No outage has been observed and the link has remained operational. As this work will require brief disconnects on that leg, we have moved traffic away from the affected path to avoid unnecessary flaps. The rest of the London ring and other redundant paths will remain in service throughout, so no adverse impact is expected. We will continue to monitor and share further updates if anything changes.
