We have seen no issues with this overnight and are therefore marking this work as complete.
Thanks again for your understanding.

Verifying
This work has been completed although we will be monitoring the situation for the remainder of the window.
All looks good from our side although it appears the changes to SSL might break customer (API) implementations using old SSL libraries. This is because CloudFlare use SNI and old client libraries do not support it. There are several documented workarounds for this depending on library/language in use. We'd recommend updating to a current version however. Whilst this equally applies to the portal and websites most browsers have supported this for 10 years or more.
Apologies again for the short-notice nature of this work but it was essential and this weekend seemed like the safest time to do it.

Update
We are seeing normal traffic and believe that DNS changes have, for the most part, propagated. We're continuing to monitor the situation.

Update
The underlying DNS issue has now been resolved, although due to DNS propagation some customers may still experience name resolution issues.

Update
Due to some ongoing DNS issues with CloudFlare some providers are currently unable to resolve SRV records for outbound voice services. We are working with CloudFlare to resolve this as a priority.

Some customers may experience issues accessing the Simwood API and Portal, we are investigating this with CloudFlare and will endeavour to provide more information as soon as possible.

In progress
Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.

Scheduled
We will be moving our web properties behind CloudFlare but in order to do this we need to move our primary DNS to them. This involves amending authoritative name servers for simwood.com which we intend to do after business hours today. Once propagated, access to certain services will be marshalled through CloudFlare. We do not anticipate any immediate issues but are doing it over the weekend to minimise any unforeseen disruption. Apologies for the short notice but we will follow up with an explanatory blog post in due course.
