The aforementioned works have been completed without incident.
Engineers will continuing to monitor the London SS7 switching infrastructure closely but testing has shown normal service restored.

As part of our ongoing maintenance we will be upgrading part of our SS7 infrastructure in our London site on the evening of Monday 23rd November.
This essential maintenance work has been scheduled when the network is quieter to minimise the risk of any disruption, however we are issuing an At Risk Notification as we will be operating with reduced resiliency and capacity during the 3 hour window, although we expect the work to be completed in a much shorter timeframe.
Simwood operate resilient SS7 links into multiple BT exchanges, from multiple sites, as well as other carriers and we do not anticipate any noticeable side-effects for our customers while this work is taking place.
