Scheduled
We have received notice of BT Planned Engineering Works which will likely affect our PSTN interconnects between our Slough site and the BT network in the early morning of June 28th.

We do not anticipate this being service affecting, as traffic will flow over other interconnects in London and Manchester, however it does reduce our capacity and resiliency. Fortunately, as the works are being undertaken when the network is quiet, we do not expect there to be any impact; even in the unlikely event of another site experiencing issues during this time.

Due to interconnecting with the same exchanges in both Slough and London, inbound traffic from the PSTN will ingress the network in London automatically if Slough is unavailable for any reason, therefore no liaison with BT to reroute traffic is required and there will be no downtime for inbound calls.

Our own engineers will be available during the scheduled engineering works in the event of any issues, and to re-route traffic in advance of the planned works to ensure that any calls in progress at the time are not affected.

These works are being carried out by BT and are outwith our own control. We will, however, keep this page updated with any notifications we receive from BT.
